After picking
up a 1200cc victory at Whip City Speedway on September 1st,
Sierra became the youngest female (age 14) to ever win a
Mini-Sprint race. Prior to Sierra, current NASCAR/ARCA star,
Erin Crocker previously held the record when she won at Whip
City, but at the age of 15.
With her
consistency along the entire 2007 Central New York
Mini-Sprint Tour, Sierra has been awarded the 2007 CNYMS
Rookie of the Year Award after finishing 10th in the final
point standings!
With very
limited visits to the Whip-City Speedway throughout the '07
season Sierra finished the season with a 15th place in the
season-long point standings. |
